Gjirokastra & Blue Eye

Transfer to Gjirokastër, a UNESCO-listed “museum-city”. The city is built on a hill slope and is famous for its characteristic narrow stone streets. There you can visit: the fortress, the Museum of Military (inside the fortress), the Ethnographic Museum – the house where Enver Hoxha was born. We will continue our drive to the “Blue Eye”, a water spring and natural monument. The Blue Eye Spring is a magical place: a hypnotic pool of deep blue water surrounded by electric-blue edges like the iris of an eye. After exploring Blue Eye, we are driving back to Saranda.
